Mother's Day!

Evan had the cutest Mother's Day celebration at his school.  The Mom's got to enjoy a muffin while the kids were off listening to a story.  Then they each stood in front of their Mom to sing a few songs that they had been working on.  I thought for sure Evan wouldn't do it and just stand there and giggle, but he did awesome.  He really got into it.  It was so hard for me not to crack up or cry.  It was great!  Then we got to go plant a flower in a pot that they had decorated.  The flower is still in my kitchen ALIVE after 3 months... it's a miracle.

We were so happy to celebrate Mother's Day with Michelle this year.  We miss all of them so much!

Cute boys!

Really?  They hardly see each other and this is what they do! Haha! Ok, that's enough...
GO PLAY!

Nana trying to feed this girl a bottle.  Jayda likes to sit up and check everything out while she eats.  She wiggles and moves...it can be a difficult task sometimes.

Love this picture!  Both enjoying their drinks.

Awwwwww!!!  Love that little Megan face!
Happy Mother's Day Julie!

The boys worked SO hard making us an amazing brunch.  Thank you guys!

Nana with her kids!  That was the best Evan could do without his sunglasses on.

 Tata David with his boys!

Beautiful Serenity.  I can't believe she is almost 17 yrs old!

Long day!

Now over to my Mom's house to celebrate!

Happy Mother's Day Mom!

The Neverending Birthday!

As Evan's birthday was approaching Mikey and I told him that he wasn't going to have a party this year because he had a big party last year and we just weren't going to do that every year.  We told him we would find something really fun to do though.  Then he said that he really wanted his two close neighbor buddies to come over.  I thought that would be perfect!  Then we planned to get Jayda baptised and everyone was asking if they could give Evan's b-day gift at that party since it was so close to his birthday.  That is when we decided to go ahead and make it a party for him as well.  We had all the family and the food... so why not?!  :)  We've been wanting to take a day trip to Prescott for a really long time so decided to plan that for the day of his birthday so that way it was something different and fun.  That is how this boy got three special days.  It really did feel like the neverending birthday but it was all so much fun.  Once all was done I was kind of bummed out that there was nothing else to look forward to and was thinking and planning for what was next.  :)

Evan with his buddies JP and Adam.

I don't want Mikey's family to see this "pull string" pinata.  Hahaha!  It's the only kind of pinata that doesn't give me a heart attack.  The boys loved it!

Evan had a great time!  Hopefully I can talk him into a small party like this again... it was SO nice!

More Birthday Fun!

Happy 4th Birthday Evan!

To celebrate Evan's birthday we did a day in Prescott.  It was a GREAT day!  We had soooo much fun!  It started out at a place called Freedom Station Family Fun Center.  I was nervous about it being crowded on a Saturday but there was hardly anyone around.  It was super clean and the food was good.

Awesome...1,000 tickets!  Oh boy was it hard to decide what to spend with that many tickets.

He really didn't undertand how many that was until they just kept coming and coming and then he got to carry them all.  He was so excited.

This was Evan's first time golfing!  It was such a cool place and the weather was so nice!

Evan had his own rules on how to play.  :)

The knight costume was one of his birthday gifts and after golfing he wore it the rest of the day.  Everyone commented on how cool he looked.

Birthday dessert... YUM!

Sister also had fun!  :)

Since the baptism celebration was just a few days before Evan's birthday we decided to combine the parties.  Evan had a superhero birthday party with his family.
