Happy 4th!

Her turn!

Jayda loves to eat!  She likes veggies (especially carrots) a lot more than she likes fruit.

She has decided it is fun to blow raspberries while eating... so wearing a napkin while feeding her is a must.

She also enjoys chewing on her toes.  She instantly throws any toy that you give her over the side so her toes are ususally what she is left with.

Evan LOVES her little toes too.  :)

She loves the water!

She loves any kind of remote she can get her hands on.

 She loves to take a bath...especially when Evan takes one with her.

She LOVES her blankie.  She has about 5 of these small minky blankets.  Evan never got attached to these but this girl did from the very beginning.  She also loves to pull it over her face and go to sleep.  I have not slept in 8 mo.  I'm too busy pulling this blanket off her face and checking her breathing lol.

 She LOVES her brother!  She completely adores him and he adores her right back.

 Morning time always starts out with holding both my babes.  She doesn't last long and wants on the floor to play.  Evan can literally sit with me all day long.

Jayda is such a good baby.  She is so sweet!  She is so happy all the time and her smile is super contagious.   She is getting around everywhere and getting new names like wild child, crazy girl, etc.  Evan has been calling her my sweet mija for a really long time.  Sometimes he calls her Miheart (mija + sweetheart).  It came out by accident and we all laughed and loved it... and so it stuck.  Well, lately he has been calling her little head LOL!

Happy Fathers Day!

For Father's Day we went to Desert Ridge for lunch and then let the boys have some water play.

Home Depot and Lowes

Evan and Mikey love to go to Home Depot and Lowes on a Saturday to build.  He comes home with the coolest stuff and is so proud of what he has made. 

 We usuallly always run into JD, Debbie and the kids...which makes it even more fun!



Here is some of the stuff he has made.

Swimming!

Evan had his first swim lessons this summer.  He was SO brave!

Cavity!

Evan got a tiny cavity in between two of his teeth.  They first gave him some stuff to drink that made him really drowsy and out of it.  Right after I took this picture he said.... Mommy, I like how I feel right now.  Then he started to giggle a lot.  OH GREAT! Haha!

 He did so great!  They told us that he needed to stay calm and lay around.  I bought him the Kung Fu Panda movie to watch.  The rest of the day he ran around totally crazy kung fuing everything lol.  So much for calm.

Hair cut!

I told Mikey to hurry and cut his hair quick before he starts sweating... it was HOT!  Instead he messes around and does stuff like this hahaha!

May!

It's hard not to take a picture with every new outfit that I put on her.  It's not a girl thing... I was/am the same way with Evan.  It's ridiculous the amount of pictures that I take of these kids haha!

She's eating!  Evan was the first to feed her.

She hated it at first but did great after a couple of days.

 She loves her sippy cup.

 Evan's good friend, JP, came over for some fun water play in the backyard.  They are so cute together and play so good.

6 mo.

Evan adores his Daddy!  When he is at work he wants to call him all the time to talk to him, even when he has nothing to say.  When Mikey works late the first thing he does when he gets home is eat dinner.  He is usually starving and eats fast but not fast enough for Evan.  :)  Evan will circle around him just waiting for him to finish so they can go play haha!

They love hanging out in Evan's bed together.  The both of them just giggle non stop.
