The day after the party we had a fun time opening everything up and playing all day.This happened over night...superheroes! He is still convinced that Spider Man is a bad guy no matter what we tell him...I'm actually ok with that for now. He is really into Batman and that is enough for now. He is getting so old so quick!
Evan loves his binoculars! Thanks Virginia, Mike, Alex, and Monique. He takes them almost everywhere.
First time flying a kite. It was hilarious! It took a LONG time but Mikey finally got it in the air...for a little while.
Grandma and Grandpa came over for a birthday dinner.
Evan didn't have too much fun at Famous Daves for his birthday dinner. He was too afraid the dress up guy was going to come. So head down playing ipod helped some.
Excited to open more presents from Mommy and Daddy!
Every year for Evan's birthday I buy him a book and write to him in it and put pictures of him at that age. Something he can have forever. Really did good this year with this book. He loves it a lot. He even tells me daily that he wants to name his little sister My Favorite Michael. :)
I am not a big fan of pinatas. They actually scare me a lot. So, this year when Evan wanted one we talked him into letting him pick one out on his actual birthday and take turns with Mommy and Daddy. I know what you are thinking.... but he is 3 yrs old and we got away with it. He was actually very happy and excited about this idea. Probably won't work for the future. Once it was all smashed up (by Mikey) we all had a lot of fun hunting for candy in the backyard. It flew everywhere.
